Sonnet Check and Response
My opinions about the sonnets are that both of the
poets were in love, longed for love, heartbreak and emotions.
I am in the middle with the sonnets because I didn't really get into as much as I thought I would have.
The sonnet that I liked the best was the Petrarch Sonnet. It was more interesting to me than Shakespeare Because Petrarch was in two languages and was older in history.
I would only recommend this to friends that are into English history and/or like love poems. What I would tell them about the sonnets is that they are very catchy and make you think about how they lived and how they felt about romance/love.
